Judging by the teaching experience and results of the surveys that were carried out on teachers in the artistic area (8 teachers) and students of the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) grades of primary school (sample made up of 18 students from 8 to 10 years of age) of the Escuela Normal Superior Lácides Iriarte de Sahagún - Córdoba, it was verified the need to contribute the design of the curricular mesh of the artistic area for Basic Primary in the fourth (4th) and fifth (5th) grades. °), projecting "a curricular proposal" that contains clarity in activities and contents to instruct the teacher in the area of Art Education essentially in the foundations of education such as children. Reflecting on the importance of artistic education in elementary school, the proposal is projected with the purpose of contributing to the awareness of children and appreciation of the global reality and that of their environment, assenting to the development of artistic skills of the students in an individual and collective work so that in this way they build their own concepts. The work is supported theoretically having, as a first measure, the awareness of the importance of artistic education in the integral formation of the child, the pedagogical quality and the due development of the Artistic Education area and thus benefit the teaching-learning process of the students proposed contents and artistic practices to be developed. This work proposes regularly monitoring the way art education didactics are used in I.E., to contribute significantly to the development of children's skills, the ability to connect with some of the disciplines of art or some in specific.
