Objective: To describe the perception of nursing care in adult oncology patients in the city of Montería, Córdoba, in May and June 2022. Methodology: A crosssectional descriptive study with a quantitative approach was carried out using the Caring Assessment Instrument (Care-Q) also called the Care Satisfaction Questionnaire to evaluate the care provided by nursing professionals through the assessment of 50 behaviors distributed in 6 behavioral subscales that determine user satisfaction. Results: For the study population, which were adult patients diagnosed with cancer, and hospitalized in May and June, in Monteria there is greater unfavorability in the confrontation subscale manifested by 28%, followed by low compliance in the subscales of anticipates, explains, and facilitates with 25% of unfavorability for the subjects who perceive it this way. Conclusion: The behavioral compliance of the nursing staff evaluated is 78,4%, indicating a good perception of care, which in turn determines a degree of satisfaction high on the part of the users studied .
