Early childhood is considered a golden stage where children are developing their language acquisition skills. Teachers must look for dynamic ways to keep students motivated and focused in the classroom. This paper describes my experience during my internship as an English preschool teacher at the Antonia Santos school in Montería, Córdoba. To accomplish this, I applied The Game-based learning approach to increase attention spans while preschoolers students were learning vocabulary. In addition, this report illustrates the findings and achievements related to my student's growth, personal improvements, and professional advancement. Finally, some recommendations and conclusions are presented for future intern teachers
