In this work of documentary analysis, academic writing in the university is addressed as an instrument which is indispensable to organize our thoughts, a series of research papers and articles will be analyzed. The methodology used was a qualitative approach, with a type of bibliographic research; making use of instruments such as the analysis of a bibliographic matrix. The results obtained from this research show that the problems of academic writing are evident in all universities and for this, various types of didactic strategies and use of new technologies have been created to improve this problem, which have given good results in the students to whom they have been applied.
