Lifestyle (LE) is defined as the way that human beings have to develop; Within this development, the youth stage is considered as the highest risk stage, young people vary their level of physical activity and eating habits, as well as their stress levels upon getting into university. Objective: To evaluate the profile of the health-promoting lifestyle in the students, of the Nursing Program of an IES in Montería - Córdoba, in the light of Nola Pender's MPS. Methodology: Crosssectional descriptive quantitative study; From the total population (n = 278) a sample of 157 students was taken, the Nola Pender Lifestyle Profile Questionnaire (PEPSI) was applied on its Spanish version. The data were analyzed according the descriptive statistic. On the entire study the compliance of the ethical criteria for research in humans was given. Results: 55% of the population have a healthy lifestyle and 45% an unhealthy lifestyle; According to the Nutrition dimension: 57% of the population has a healthy lifestyle and 43% an unhealthy lifestyle; According to the Physical Activity dimension: 76% of the population have a healthy lifestyle and 24% an unhealthy lifestyle; According to the dimension Responsibility with health: 17% of the population have a healthy lifestyle and 83% an unhealthy lifestyle; According to the Stress management dimension: 20% of the population have a healthy lifestyle and 80% an unhealthy lifestyle; According to the Interpersonal Support dimension: 57% of the population have a healthy lifestyle and 43% an unhealthy lifestyle. Regarding the Self-action or personal fulfillment dimension: 96% of the population has a healthy lifestyle and 4% an unhealthy lifestyle. Conclusion: More than half of the students of the Nursing Program present a healthy lifestyle; It is evidenced that there is a higher percentage of students who in the dimensions of: Nutrition, Physical Activity, Interpersonal Support and Self-Action present a healthy lifestyle.
