The due knowledge of the users about their rights and duties in health is of the utmost importance, since through understanding the users will be able to have clear power to choose in which health institution to go to receive medical attention and deal with the missionaries. In addition, it will allow the user to create responsibilities around the care and protection of their health. That is why there are regulations, in which the Social Enterprise of the State E.S.E, Institutions Providers of Health Services I.P.S and the Health Promoting Entities E.P.S of existing health are followed to provide clear and truthful information to its users. Among them is statutory law 1751 of 2015, which in its article 1 aims to guarantee the fundamental right to health, regulate it and establish its protection mechanisms and Resolution 229 of 2020, which speaks of the guidelines of the letter of the rights and duties of people affiliated with the General System of Social Security in Health – SGSSS.
