The new technologies of audiovisual production have become the channel par excellence for the imperative task of registering, manipulating and disseminating a whole plethora of educational content. The present research proposes a methodological strategy, for the production of multimedia educational materials, that incorporates the new trends in the framework of audiovisual realization and nurture existing ones, seeking to optimize the development of content within the Faculty of Education and Human Sciences of the University of Córdoba. To achieve this, multimedia production techniques were identified in the first instance, which, due to their nature and the nature of their results, could contribute to the improvement of the quality of multimedia educational materials. The appropriate methodology for the development of educational materials was defined by implementing audiovisual performance techniques and finally the criteria and parameters were determined to be estimated through an evaluation instrument, designed to assess the quality of multimedia educational materials products of the Faculty of Education and Human Sciences. Then, a methodological strategy is introduced that incorporates techniques and new trends in audiovisual production in the development of multimedia educational materials, which seeks to improve the processes of content development within the faculty. Likewise, the elaboration of an interdisciplinary resource elaborated under the proposed strategy and the corresponding recommendations were carried out.
