    Análisis de las políticas públicas de las comunidades indígenas de Colombia

    This article addresses a literature review on the subject of public policies and indigenous communities in Colombia; presented by the definition of public policies, definition of indigenous community and the identification of these policies in Colombia in relation to indigenous communities. Since throughout history, indigenous communities have been settled in the national territory long before the Spanish conquest and colony and have maintained their indigenous cosmogony to this day. However, it is necessary to determine the type of policy and its effectiveness on these communities. This article seeks to gather in a general way doctrinal concept related to public policies and indigenous communities, and also to identify the public policies related to indigenous communities that guarantee the rights of these communities.

    Obligatoriedad de la administración municipal de Montería para el diseño, implementación y ejecución de políticas públicas con el enfoque diferencial hacia las comunidades afrocolombianas residentes en el municipio

    In this monographic work, the obligation of the municipal administration of Montería to design, implement and execute public policies is explored and analyzed, bearing in mind the differential approach towards Afro-Colombian communities residing in the municipality, as a mechanism to guarantee, protect and safeguards the rights of these communities. It starts by establishing concepts of importance for the development of the work, such as that of public policy and differential approach, then some normative foundations are established at the international and national level, as well as judicial decisions that determine the recognition as subjects of special protection to the communities ethnic groups, including those that concern us at work such as Afro-Colombians. Finally, the percentage of the black, Afro-Colombian, Raizal and Palenquera population that lives in the national territory, and specifically in the department of Córdoba, is shown to determine the need for public policies towards these communities that guarantee the effective enjoyment of their rights.     This monograph seeks to expose the current situation of mental health, suicide and public policies on mental health and suicide prevention in Colombia, making a tour of the different official statistics and the different public policies existing in the country, with a view to achieve a broad perspective on the subject, this because it is not a secret that one of the problems that most disturbs societies in general today is suicide, although this is an extremely delicate subject and although no one knows for sure what happens within the mind of a person and the way in which it interprets certain situations, since it is a very complex issue when trying to understand it from an outside perspective, it is possible, as indicated by medical centers, to obtain clues, clues that should be taken as warning signs in order to prevent as many suicidal acts as possible and that is where entities should undoubtedly enter of the state and also the private ones.
