Publicación Acceso abierto Agroingenius: serious game, para la formación en prevención y control de riesgos laborales presentes en las Unidades de Producción Agropecuaria (UPA) del departamento de Córdoba(2021-12-01) Suárez Baquero, Zulay Wendy; Ramos González, María Fernanda; Plaza Gómez, María TrinidadThe purpose of this research work is to determine the degree of influence of serious games in training in prevention and control of occupational risks present in the Agricultural Production Units (UPA) of the department of Córdoba; therefore, the research topic regarding the Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (SG-OSH) of the UPA was raised with the following question: ¿To what extent do serious games specifically Agroingenius, as a teaching methodology, influence the academic performance of UPA workers in relation to training in prevention and control of occupational risks present in their work environment?, for this purpose, a quantitative quasi-experimental study of descriptive and correlational scope was carried out; where information on the characteristics of UPA workers was analyzed, such as age, gender, educational level, among others; and the relationship between different variables, such as the effect of teaching methodologies (serious play and master class) as an independent variable on the academic performance of workers, as a dependent variable. Regarding the results, the research showed that there is no statistically significant difference between the teaching methodologies used, therefore, Agroingenius is not better or worse than the master class, however, both groups that were in equal conditions presented an increase in their academic performance, which was not influenced by factors such as age, educational level or gender. In general, Agroingenius had a positive reception from the majority of the participants, since the skills and knowledge of the UPA workers in OSH was potentiated from the experiences learned in the serious game.Publicación Acceso abierto Juego didáctico como herramienta complementaria para la enseñanza de modelación matemática(2021-09-07) Vidal Avila, Ana Elvira; Martínez Galeano, María Inés; Hernández Riaño, Helman Enrique; López Pereira, Jorge MarioThis investigation project is part of the development of a didactic game as a complementary methodology to the master class for the teaching of mathematical modeling and its influence on the academic performance of students, based on the need to create tools that allow, not only to improve their academic performance, but to achieve that the student takes ownership of the subject and has a meaningful learning of it. The investigation followed a quasi-experiment of a correlational nature, with a design with pre-test, post-test and control group, applied to first-semester students of the Industrial Engineering program of University of Córdoba, to whom were applied the respective evaluative tests before and after the experiment. The results showed that the didactic game as a complementary teaching methodology to the master class does not influence in a statistically significant way on the academic performance evaluated by competencies for the particular topic of the research. The foregoing was within the framework of the analysis and determination of the relationship between learning styles and academic performance and influence on it, as well as the academic level of the mother and father, gender and the type of institution of secondary education of the person.Publicación Acceso abierto Luccentus, un videojuego para la enseñanza de la evaluación del estrés con la batería del riesgo psicosocial del Mintrabajo(2020-09-10) Ramos Arboleda, Jesús Antonio; Álvares Díaz, Miguel José; Plaza Gómez, María Trinidad; Hernández Riaño, HelmanEducation is the support for developing basic knowledge and tools for each of the areas of knowledge, in this case, those that revolve around Occupational Safety and Health, with the psychosocial risks. That is why this research shows how the serious video game, Luccentus, is an efficient tool for learning the Stress Questionnaire, which is part of the psychosocial risk battery of the Ministry of Labour of Colombia. This shows if the implementation of a serious game in this knowledge influences the relationship, that emerges from this academic process. This was done through the application of a quasi-experiment consisting of a pre-test and a post-test to a control and experimental group. Which resulted in the serious video game, LUCCENTUS, positively influencing the learning of the mentioned subject, since, at the moment of the application of the master class in conjunction with this video game, an increase in the academic performance for the application of the stress questionnaire was presented.
