This research defined the general objective of analyzing the impact generated by the implementation of the Single Day from the components of pedagogical accompaniment and human resources on the academic performance of students at La Ye Educational Institution in the years 2016-2018. It was methodologically based on the interpretive paradigm, with a qualitative research approach and a case study method, the research participants were 30 11th grade students, 3 teachers and 2 teacher directors. The documentary analysis, the survey and the interview were implemented as information gathering techniques. The results were that the implementation of the single day generated different changes in the study plans, pedagogical support and human resources in the aforementioned institution, which influenced the improvement of the results of the knowing 11 tests. It was concluded that the single day in its pedagogical and human resources component was configured as an improvement tool in the school processes developed in the La Ye Educational Institution, because it focused its attention on strengthening the teaching practices of teachers from reflection as a whole and a critical look at them. In addition, it allowed the transformation of the dynamics of review and adjustments to institutional documents. With the implementation of the single day at the La Ye Educational Institution, a positive impact was generated in the academic performance of the students and in the pedagogical practice of the teachers, as well as in the fulfillment of the institutional goals and the improvement of the educational quality
