Eng: This internship report reflects on my experience as a mentor for first-semester students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Languages at the University of Cordoba. The goal was to help them strengthen their communicative skills, particularly in speaking, by focusing on vocabulary building, grammar reinforcement, and personalized feedback. Many of these students struggled with expressing themselves in English, which often affected their confidence and participation. Through weekly mentoring sessions, I perceived not only linguistic improvements but also a boost in motivation and confidence. This experience reaffirmed how meaningful peer support can be in academic life, especially during the early stages of university. The report highlights the impact of guided mentorship in reducing academic challenges and promoting engagement in language learning.
