The orientation of this project is focused on designing and developing a mobile application, which functions as a tool to strengthen brain skills in the face of Alzheimer's disease and cognitive impairment in older adults in the P-5 neighborhood of the city of Monteria. Through a survey conducted to the population, it was possible to identify different variables linked to cognitive impairment, as well as the knowledge about the disease and how adults are related to technology; thanks to this, the lack of a support tool to treat diseases and conditions of this type was evidenced. The methodology used for the design and implementation of the App, is the RUP methodology, this methodology allows an effective and structured development of the application, taking into account the realization of a series of phases during the development of the project. The application is called ActivaMente, and is developed in the Android operating system, using ReactNative. For data storage, the database was implemented in Firebase
