Patient safety has been established as part of the essential standards for providing quality health services in all health institutions, due to the degree of danger that exists in each care process. An adverse event is unintentional damage caused to the patient, directly related to health care. therefore, the present study is carried out with the main objective of updating the adverse event reporting format of the E.S.E Camú Moñitos of the department of Córdoba taking into account the guidelines governed by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the current legislation. A descriptive study with a quantitative approach was also implemented. It is obtained as a result that once the incident or adverse event related to the patient’s care is detected, Service personnel should take into account what is described in the procedure Reporting and management of events related to patient care in the format designed and updated 2019 version 2.0. In conclusion, it takes into account the antecedents presented and in order to reduce morbidity and mortality caused by errors in health care, This is why we present the structure called EA reports which will allow monitoring and follow-up for decisionmaking regarding patient safety.
