Therefore, its realization is essential for the planners and computers of the territory, since it encompasses large structuring elements of current urban systems, where one of the challenges of the 21st century is to provide possible solutions to the existing imbalances in terms of access to service equipment, especially education. In this sense, the research uses spatial analysis tools to calculate the indicators related to accessibility, resulting in maps of degrees of accessibility in distance and time.Publicación Acceso abierto Prácticas y comportamiento de autocuidado en adultos con diabetes mellitus: revisión de la literatura(2021-07-14) Velásquez Benítez, Diana Patricia; Vélez López, Yessica Paola; Ramos Lafont, Claudia; Sánchez Caraballo, Álvaro AntonioDiabetes mellitus is one of the main health problems worldwide, which has been classified as the epidemic of the 21st century, a disease that, according to data revealed by the World Health Organization, affects 422 million people and It is estimated that by the year 2030 around 560 million people will suffer from it. Objective: To describe the self-care practices carried out by adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, through a narrative review of the scientific literature published between the years 2010-2020. Methodology: Narrative literature review study. Results: Through this review, it has been possible to know that adults with DM2 do not maintain good habits and self-care behaviors for the maintenance of health and control of the disease, it should also be noted that in the results it was always observed that women are more careful and responsible for their health and maintain better self-care practices compared to men. Conclusions: In most of the investigations, the lack of practices of self-care, monitoring, and self-care management, carried out by adults with DM2, was evidenced, which makes them prone to developing complications and decreasing their quality of life.
