One of the key drivers behind the focus on personal leadership in education is the recognition that effective leadership is essential for creating positive learning environments and improving educational outcomes. This paper explores the concept of transformational leadership, which focuses on inspiring and empowering followers to achieve common goals. The assumptions of transformational leadership are discussed, emphasizing the importance of personal values, beliefs, and qualities of the leader in driving change. The paper also highlights the benefits of collaborative work in understanding leadership dynamics and shaping oneself as a professional and teacher-leader. Furthermore, the concept of leadership empowerment is explored, emphasizing the significance of providing autonomy, support, and resources to educators to improve their professional expertise and foster student achievement. The proposed plan aims to empower students to become the best versions of themselves and inspire others throughout their lives by developing their leadership capabilities and driving their own personal growth processes.

    Leaders are able to understand how to achieve results while motivating followers, this ability to keep teams engaged and motivated is a quality shared by the most effective leaders. Team members could easily quit the ideal if they are not committed to it; in order to keep people involved with one another and with the goal, leaders must adapt and change their leadership perspective. Due to this, this paper defines transformational leadership as a way to inspire both followers and leaders to communicate, encourage, and have a vision while also conveying empathy, confidence, and integrity, through the development of school projects, and plans to allow students to gain the responsibility of a social engagement while growing the desire to improve living conditions in their communities and inspire others to take the same path towards change, becoming positive role models and eventual leaders after being guided and educated by teacher leaders.

However, because of the diversity of definitions from various authors, confusion has emerged, especially in education, where leadership may be erroneously linked to authority or management. This personal leadership statement will guide us to develop our future teaching practices as transformational leaders. Therefore, it contains our assumptions, beliefs, approach, and aspirations for the future. This paper is the learning product of the diploma course in Lifelong Professional Development: Empowering Foreign Language Teachers. Consequently, this statement aims to lead the educational field with innovative and transformational ideas by shaping the overall success and development of schools through empowerment. Then, it is expected to have a profound impact on effective plans and build values in education within the role of empowered teacher-leaders.

    Schools have started to understand the importance of adapting their curricula to the changing needs of today's world putting significantly more effort in preparing their educators to lead and teach so. The current statement explores the significance of transformational leadership, particularly within the context of foreign language classrooms, including a transformational leadership plan designed by three under-graduated foreign language student teachers from Universidad de Córdoba. Thus, this statement approaches a personal perspective that captures our existing understanding of leadership. It delves into different leadership concepts, our assumptions on transformational leadership, and the implications that collaborative work and empowerment have in our practices as future teacher leaders. The transformational leadership plan that we propose in this statement aims to empower school communities to generate a more dynamic and forward-thinking educational setting.

In this personal leadership statement, we reflected on the diverse concepts and our perception of what being a good leader means, our assumptions, empowerment, and implications for the future. The plan is to incorporate transformational leadership in future teaching practices taking into account the strategies and empowerment in learning proposed in the statement.

La perspectiva se centra en las creencias tradicionales y las desafía, llevándonos a través de diferentes cuestiones relativas a una famosa cita que tradicionalmente afirmaba que los líderes nacen y no se crean ni se forman. Posteriormente, muchos autores como James V. Down, Mac Gregor y Bernard Bass abrieron la puerta a una perspectiva que desafía los primeros conceptos del liderazgo en el aprendizaje, pero que también lo redefine. Se trata del liderazgo. Este documento presenta nuestro viaje antes y después de experimentar el liderazgo bien orientado, mostrando lo que descubrimos y adoptamos como conceptos fundamentales en relación con el liderazgo y las perspectivas. El plan es seguir creciendo a partir de los diferentes resultados que hemos obtenido en nuestra vida personal y profesional, fomentando el empoderamiento temprano para promover el liderazgo.transformacional.

    Relación entre estilos de liderazgo, resiliencia y productividad laboral en los trabajadores del sector de restaurantes, bares y discotecas

    This research established the relationship between Leadership Styles, Resilience and Labor Productivity, which was carried out with 200 participants from the bars, restaurants and discotheques sector of Sincelejo, Colombia. The Multifactor Leadership questionnaire (instrument to measure leadership styles), CD-RISC 10 (questionnaire to measure resilience) and the Labor Productivity survey questionnaire were applied to the sample. The data analysis was executed through the Models of Structural Equations, according to the results a direct correlation was identified between the variables of Resilience and Labor Productivity. While with the variable of Leadership Styles it was not possible to establish a representative relationship for the population.
