Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis espacial de la inseguridad en el centro de Montería, entre las calles 24 y 41 con carreras 1 y 14, año 2020, con base en la percepción de los visitantes a través del geoformulario web Survey123(2020-11-11) León Julio, Damián José; Puerta Avilés, Oscar AntonioThe study aimed to characterize the spaces perceived as unsafe in the center of the City of Montería between calle 22 and 41 between races 1 and 14, for the year 2020. To carry out this investigation, a web geoform was carried out at Through Survey123, for which 385 forms were answered. For this, a spatial analysis was applied to the results obtained in this survey, through the density Kernel geoprocess, which shows all the most dangerous points that exist in the center of Montería, according to the perspective of the respondents. The results shown indicate that in the center of the city of Montería it has places with a high index of insecurity, according to the analysis obtained through the aforementioned spatial techniques, there are also areas through which it is preferred not to transit so as not to be victims of an act In order to mitigate this problem, the implementation of the presence of the security forces and surveillance cameras was proposed, which generates greater confidence for citizens.Publicación Acceso abierto Dinámica del crecimiento urbano de las ciudades de Barranquilla y Soledad en el departamento del Atlántico en el periodo 1973- 2020: una mirada espacial al proceso conurbación(2022-08-19) Dueñas Anaya, Brian Antonio; Puerta Avilés, Oscar AntonioIn this article an analysis of the phenomenon and process of conurbation between the city of Barranquilla and Soledad from 1973 to 2020 is made, taking into account the factors that led to the emergence of this spatial and social dynamics, highlighting the process of industrialization being some of the main determining factors, in addition, the impacts that were generated due to this phenomenon were analyzed. From the methodological point of view, a documentary analysis of the bibliography referring to urban issues and planning instruments was carried out, in addition the cartographic method is applied with the help of geographic information technology, achieving evidence of the growth of the urban fabric, until reaching spatial and urban continuity, show a relationship with historical moments of great importance, such as the creation of industrial corridors, the location of new residential sectors mainly linked to the industrial sector with labor and urban expansion areas, which thus promoted the phenomenon of conurbation.Publicación Acceso abierto Distribución espacial de las actividades comerciales en el municipio de Cereté – Córdoba para el Año 2020(2021-10-11) Espitia Ortiz, Luis Fernando; Puerta Avilés, Oscar AntonioThis article analyzes the spatial distribution of commercial activities for the year 2020 in the municipality of Cereté, department of Córdoba, through the use of geographic information technologies, applying the nearest neighbor technique, calculation of spatial density by means of homogeneous grids and spatial accessibility. The results obtained in the research indicate that commercial activities present a spatial pattern with a tendency to concentrate in the central zone of the municipality, which is typical of cities with a monocentric urban structure and low population sizes. Likewise, four focal points of agglomeration of commercial facilities are identified in the central sector, since it is the oldest area of the municipality of Cereté, with a concentration of 48% of all commercial establishments, delimited around the Central Park of Cereté and in turn, more than 88% of the neighborhoods are located at distances of less than 300 m and 12% at more than 1000 m from the nearest establishment, resulting in the northwest and southeast areas that are farther away from the city center.
