The objective of this monograph is to detect and examine the reality and significance of the factors involved in the workplace, which are related to the occurrence of accidents and occupational safety; In order to change the perception of the main cause of the occurrence of accidents, which is due to ignorance or human errors for another proposition, such as a more fundamental and broad cause, the intrinsic factors of the organization. The analysis process of this study is based on an extensive literature review on occupational safety, organizational factors and accident rates. Taking into account the literature, it is evident that there are several worker organizational factors that influence the increase in accidents and negatively deteriorate the safety culture, causing risky behaviors when carrying out their activities. Of course, this affects the entire organization both economically and socially as they are perceived as a company with an insecure and unsuitable work environment.
Study Applies to the Labor Market of All Companies in the Any sector. In the review of the literature, several organizational factors were found that emerge positively in the increase in accident occurrences, such as: Leadership, risk perception, role overload, employee behavior, participatory management, communication process. All these internal factors of the organization are presented by lack of objectivity and interest in job security, poor management of the administration, etc. But, just as the occurrence of accidents increases, these factors can also be used to positively influence the safety culture and the reduction of accidents in the company with due analysis of these.
