This report details a transformative internship experience at Robinson Pitalúa School in Montería, Colombia. The internship served as a crucial foundation for the development of the author's pedagogical skills, solidifying a commitment to fostering environmental awareness in young learners. The work with 4th and 5th graders centered on the implementation of two key pedagogical approaches outlined by the National English Suggested Curriculum for Elementary Education: Task-Based Learning (TBL) and Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). These methodologies were employed to engage students in raising awareness about critical environmental issues. The report offers a comprehensive analysis of the implemented methods, their impact on student learning outcomes, and the author's significant personal and professional growth fostered by this pivotal internship.eng
