dc.description.abstractEste artículo explora el liderazgo adaptativo como estrategia clave para abordar la resistencia al cambio tecnológico en entornos educativos, en particular en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras. Define el liderazgo como influencia y destaca la importancia de empoderar a los educadores mediante prácticas críticas e inclusivas. La investigación examina cómo liderar con respeto y empatía, incluyendo y guiando a quienes carecen de competencias tecnológicas, crea un liderazgo educativo eficaz. El análisis enfatiza cómo los supuestos subyacentes configuran los enfoques de liderazgo y cómo el liderazgo adaptativo facilita la transformación sostenible en las instituciones educativas. El artículo identifica estrategias clave de implementación, incluyendo la distinción entre los desafíos adaptativos y los problemas técnicos, la regulación del estrés mediante espacios seguros de experimentación, el enfoque en los resultados educativos y la restitución de la responsabilidad a los educadores con experiencia. Los hallazgos sugieren que, cuando se implementa adecuadamente, el liderazgo adaptativo puede transformar la resistencia en innovación colaborativa, acortando las brechas generacionales en la adopción de tecnología y reconociendo la experiencia pedagógica.
dc.description.abstractThis paper explores adaptive leadership as a key strategy to address resistance to technological change in educational settings, particularly in foreign language teaching. It defines leadership as influence and highlights the importance of empowering educators through critical and inclusive practices. The research examines how leading with respect and empathy, while including and guiding those lacking technological competence, creates effective educational leadership. The analysis emphasizes how underlying assumptions shape leadership approaches and how adaptive leadership enables sustainable transformation in educational institutions. The paper identifies key implementation strategies including distinguishing adaptive challenges from technical problems, regulating distress through safe experimentation spaces, maintaining focus on educational outcomes, and returning ownership to experienced educators. Findings suggest that when properly implemented, adaptive leadership can transform resistance into collaborative innovation, bridging generational gaps in technology adoption while honoring pedagogical expertise
