In education, leadership is key. A positive culture, direction, and vision are provided by effective leaders. Positive educational outcomes are ultimately influenced by the roles that teacher leaders play in encouraging student success, professional growth, and cooperative school communities. This personal leadership statement describes team leadership qualities and future practices as teacher leaders. Consequently, this paper will focus on the definition of this leadership perspective, our assumptions, description of empowerment, and implications for the future. This final plan is the result of the Lifelong Professional Development: Empowering Foreign Language Teachers course. This statement proposes different strategies for the development of leaders in their roles as teachers in schools and how they can be empowered to achieve the proposed goals. Keywords: leadership; team leadership; empowerment in schoolseng
