Resumen en inglés
It is no secret that renewable energies are currently the fundamental basis for the energy sustainability of our humanity and the environment that surrounds us. Society at this time seeks to implement different energy alternatives to reduce the environmental damage that we have been carrying by the current energy system, which generates an exclusive dependence on fossil fuels. Due to this, different advances have been developed on new energy alternatives such as : Solar energy, wind energy, biomass and biogas. In Colombia, specifically in the department of Córdoba, there is a great capacity of accumulation of residual biomass by agro-industrial processes that have as a consequence a high production of rice husk biomass and bovine manure. This research seeks to evaluate the consequences of the co-digestion of the mixture of cattle manure and rice husk under thermophilic conditions [45-57] °C in an anaerobic reactor, which we consider the biomass components by means of experimental data and publications that share this information. Using the ADM1 model, which prioritizes the kinetics of the digestive process, the estimated retention time to be used for the reactor is 20 days and the results will help future experimental projects to continue the development of biogas studies under thermophilic conditions
