By improving self-efficacy or sense of competence, after the intervention process and from the results it can be seen that there is a lower level of school anxiety; There are changes that allow us to conclude from the pretest-posttest comparison the presence of significant differences in anxiety levels before and after the application of the collaborative environment mediated by technological environments. In the study, in the first instance, the anxiety test is applied and then the selfefficacy test to the students to determine how their previous levels are. Subsequently, mediated activities and tasks were introduced with the use of technological tools in collaborative and group work environments, followed by a new application of the initial tests, which helps to determine if collaborative learning through technological environments helps or not to reduce levels. of school anxiety, and determine how much value this application adds in different aspects of the emotional dimension evidenced as a sense of competence and not only in intellectual performance.Publicación Acceso abierto Collaborative learning to promote values at El Sabanal School(2023-08-06) Ruiz Guerra, Orianis; Paz Wechek, Martha ElviraThis report describes the internship process conducted in the program Bilingualism for peace at El Sabanal school. This process was conducted in low elementary, second level belonging to the program and consisted of face-to-face and virtual classes. The principal purpose of this internship was to develop the importance of teamwork through games and didactic activities, provide them with the necessary accompaniment through the process and establish good relationships between classmates. In addition, it explains the essential pedagogical perspectives on which this paper is based, which are Collaborative learning (CL) and the role of play and games in child development. Se utilizó una metodología de investigación basada en diseño, aplicando un pretest-postest, revelando un notable aumento en el pensamiento computacional, superando el 80% de mejora en los estudiantes, según los resultados. La estrategia didáctica fue bien recibida, con un 90% de satisfacción estudiantil. Los hallazgos destacan la importancia de integrar enfoques lúdicos y STEM+ en la educación temprana para desarrollar habilidades esenciales en la era digital. A methodological design of evaluative research was applied - evaluation of educational programs, where the effects of a language program designed with Dee Fink's Taxonomy of Meaningful Learning are evaluated, focused on goals and skills that the student must develop at the end of the process training on their strengthening in the communicative competence of reading and writing. The research included a diagnostic phase, a program design phase, a program implementation phase, and an evaluation phase of program implementation. This process was conducted with 10 students attending their first semester in Communication I and Grammar I courses, with the goal of helping them accomplish their desired results and boosting their confidence. Having very insightful and holistic sessions each time was key in order to help them to reinforce the content learned in their subjects. In this specific internship, there are a lot of professionals providing the guidance and training that mentors need along the process to fully equip them so that they can be effective role models and provide the best experience for their mentees. This is a student-centered approach where the mentees are the main focus of the program and all the other participants adapt to their needs, but the mentees have also to adapt to the strategies proposed in order to fulfill the expected outcomes. This process was carried out through the Bilingualism for Peace program with two groups of beginners which is the first level of the program. The main purpose of this internship was to implement strategies to motivate students to learn English in a fun and different way. Following the above, the objective was that the children could develop skills such as communication, teamwork and creativity while learning this second language. For this reason, teaching methods such as total physical response, kinesthetic learning and collaborative learning were implemented. The main objective of this internship was the implementation of TikTok as a useful tool for oral production, since students through a diagnostic evaluation were inclined to use the technology. Therefore, I took advantage of that affinity, in order to improve their ability to use the language. Besides, this paper reports the different pedagogies used for the proper development of the experience and achieving the objective which were: oral production, ICTs in education, Social Media in education, TikTok, Authentic Learning and Collaborative learning. El problema gira entorno a las dificultades que se presentan en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de las matemáticas y que se reflejan en los resultados obtenidos por los educandos en las pruebas internas y externas. El estudio está enmarcado dentro del paradigma empírico analítico, el proceso de análisis y procesamiento de datos se asume desde el método cuantitativo aplicando un diseño metodológico cuasi-experimental desarrollado en siete etapas. This report also describes briefly the main strategies and pedagogies applied to seventh-grade students to boost and increase their oral communication skills and vocabulary taking into account their context and needs. Additionally, the different results gained, pieces of evidence in students´ learning process, and some examples of the main activities performed in class using some approaches such as Collaborative Learning that included think pair share and discussions in small groups; Content-Based Instruction and the implementation of ICTs in teaching. Moreover, my personal and professional growth as a human being and teacher. Finally, some conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions for the incoming interns of the English Program.
