For the purposes of this research, a mixed study is carried out, combining the qualitative approach, case study design with the quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design, aimed at a diverse sample of 24 students in 8th grade of Basic education, at The PECgM-TIC Program is applied during 15 sessions in pencil and paper and 15 sessions on the online platform. The triangulation of data and the analysis and interpretation of the same evidence at the level of development of cognitive processes a significant advance in the skills of Memory, Coordination and Reasoning, it is evident that this increase has a significant impact on impulsive behavior, providing them with the improvement in self-regulation when facing tasks and giving way to thinking before decisionmaking when solving problems. Regarding the levels of cognitive development, the group obtained a level of understanding of the Relational type, mostly, followed by the expanded Abstract level, which shows a high level of understanding according to the SOLO taxonomy, domains that favored the levels of performance in the Language and Mathematics areas.
