In order to counteract all the elements generated by the health crisis, it became necessary for the national government to adopt health measures that would allow the proper management of hospital centers and the entire network that is part of the health system. Within these elements, the health auditor also played a fundamental role, so the monographic work presented focused on exploring the health and emergency health measures implemented by the Ministry of Health to strengthen the hospital network during the virus pandemic. of COVID-19. Likewise, describing the installed capacity of public and private providers implemented in positive covid patients to finally analyze the role of the auditor in strengthening the hospital network during the COVID-19 virus pandemic. All this using a descriptive methodology under the bibliographic review technique where a series of results could be found around the administrative and health management of the national government, as well as the strategies in terms of prevention, mitigation and vaccination are currently implemented. That have been identified in the analysis of the consultation of articles in different databases, theses, degree works, which refer to the planned objectives. Which were of great help to identify those contributing factors that are most evident when analyzing adverse events that occurred in intensive care units. Such as work overload, inexperience, lack of maintenance in biomedical equipment, insufficient instructions, stressful environment, error in the prescription and distribution of medications. For the preparation of this monograph, the function of the auditor in the prevention and management of adverse events that occur within the institutions was addressed; for which it is required to take into account a set of legal regulations that govern the General System of Social Security in Health (SGSSS), from which the administrative acts that are periodically updated and modified are deployed, in favor of the improvement for the quality in provision of health services and user satisfaction. In the development of the monograph it can be established that the role of the auditor, in relation to the management of adverse events, is focused from the analysis to their prevention through the different tools established by the institution, as well is the patient safety policy and pharmacovigilance.
