    Implementing tiktok as an updated and useful tool to enhance oral production skills among upper-level students in language learning

    This report paper describes the experience of an internship in the Bilingualism for Peace Program at La Ribera school, carried out at level #6, the upper intermediate level, which was held every Saturday. The main objective of this internship was the implementation of TikTok as a useful tool for oral production, since students through a diagnostic evaluation were inclined to use the technology. Therefore, I took advantage of that affinity, in order to improve their ability to use the language. Besides, this paper reports the different pedagogies used for the proper development of the experience and achieving the objective which were: oral production, ICTs in education, Social Media in education, TikTok, Authentic Learning and Collaborative learning. Finally, this report explains the methodologies and strategies used, the results obtained at the end and gives recommendations taking into account the professional development of the teacher and the student.

    Internship at public university: University of Cordoba, accompaniment and academic tutoring

    This report describes my experience during the internship “accompaniment and academic tutoring” conducted at the University of Cordoba. The main focus of this project was to promote the permanence and graduation of students from the foreign language teaching program, by enriching advanced in their professional development. It consisted of private academic support to students with learning disabilities aimed to enhance their language acquisition and interpersonal skills. The encounters were mainly in person and lessons were based on tutoring and cooperative work strategies since students worked in collaboration to achieve personal goals. In addition, this document illustrates the teaching practices, methodologies, results, recommendations, and limitations related to the process and its implications for my professional growth.

    Promoting critical thinking in students through collaborative learning and problem-based learning: internship experience

    El inglés se ha convertido en una herramienta esencial para la comunicación global y el desarrollo personal, especialmente en comunidades de escasos recursos. Este informe de pasantía detalla mi experiencia en el programa Bilingüismo para la Paz, que promueve el aprendizaje del idioma inglés como una forma de reducir las desigualdades sociales. En esta pasantía, enfatizo la importancia de desarrollar habilidades de pensamiento crítico, que empoderan a los estudiantes para analizar, evaluar y responder a los desafíos del mundo real. Durante la pasantía, enseñé inglés a estudiantes de nivel intermedio, enfocándome en lecciones interactivas que fomentaban la colaboración y la resolución de problemas, utilizando métodos como el aprendizaje colaborativo (CL), el aprendizaje basado en problemas (PBL) y el aprendizaje basado en la investigación (IBL). A través de esto, observé cómo el fomento del pensamiento crítico alentaba a los estudiantes a convertirse en estudiantes más independientes y participantes activos en su educación.
