Assessing self-esteem in nursing students of a HEI in Monteria in times of pandemic COVID-19, in the light of Rosemberg's Self-Esteem Theory. Methodology. Cross-sectional quantitative descriptive study. A sample of 130 nursing students from a higher education institution in Monteria was taken from the total population 365. Rosemberg's self-esteem scale was applied through the form in the Google Forms application with 4 sections: Informed consent, personal characteristics questionnaire, Rosemberg self-esteem scale and gratitude. Results. Out of 130 participating students, the average age was 21 years. The self-esteem assessment is dominated by the high category with 39.2%. The dimension of selfconfidence or personal satisfaction (positive self-esteem) corresponds to 15.41, and self-contempt or personal devaluation (negative self-esteem) to 13.07. Pearson's Chi-square statistic revealed relationships between "perception of mental health" and self-esteem, with a p-value of "0.000". Conclusion. Design: it is a study type descriptive, with a qualitative approach. In which press reports published between February 23, 2020 and January 2021 were taken. From the published interviews, what was expressed by the subjects of the study was transcribed verbatim; the semantic expressions were grouped by similarity in order to establish the categories and sub-categories that constitute the substrate of the results. El tipo de estudio fue una monografía científica, tipo descriptiva, de investigación. Methodology. A descriptive, cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach was carried out. The type of sampling was random probabilistic, based on a population (N=272), the sample consisted of 141 nursing students of six semesters at the University of Córdoba with active enrollment in the 2022-II academic period. For the collection of information, the following instruments were used, in the first and second semester the instrument called: Evaluation Questionnaire for laboratory practices was applied, in the third and fourth semester the instrument called: Questionnaire of quality and satisfaction with clinical simulation. For the fifth and sixth semester, the instrument was applied: Clinical teachinglearning process evaluation questionnaire. Results. Most of the participants are female, between the ages of 18 and 22, live in sectors located in socioeconomic stratum 1, single marital status (91.6%) from urban areas (77.2%), affiliated with the subsidized regime (57.4%). Conclusions. The perception that students have regarding the biology and chemistry laboratories, the vast majority of the dimensions were evaluated with medium compliance, except for equipment and supplies that obtained a low score. In the perception of the use of clinical simulation as a learning environment, low compliance was found in each of the items and dimensions evaluated. Montería, 2019(Universidad de Córdoba, 2021-01-29) Mesa Ruiz, Victoria Eugenia; Vergara Támara, Ramiro Alonso; Amador Ahumada, Concepción ElenaEl ion de flúor, halógeno, electronegativo, suministrado como medida de salud pública en la prevención de la caries por OMS desde el siglo XX, la Organización Mundial de la Salud, estableció su ingesta por vía oral como medida de salud pública para la prevención de la caries dental; se excreta por la orina. El efecto depende de: dosis, tiempo de exposición, grado de desnutrición, estado general de salud. Objetivo. Determinar las prácticas de consumo que predisponen a la exposición inadvertida al flúor y su impacto en la salud pública, en Montería – Córdoba. Metodología estudio descriptivo transversal; la fluorosis se midió utilizando el Índice de Dean y el ICF; los datos se correlacionaron con las variables edad, procedencia, promedio de consumo inadvertido del ion flúor, alimentos, bebidas, elemento de higiene bucal, en 235 participantes. Resultados. El ICF se estableció por regiones: ICF grave en región central del país, ICF medio en Sinú Medio, San Jorge, Sabana y Alto Sinú, por grupo de edad de 10 a 19 años ICF medio, de 10 a 14, 20 a 24 y ,25 a 29, ICF leve, el total general ICF leve. Conclusiones. La ingesta promedio de ion de flúor por el consumo del enjuague bucal, estableció posibles relaciones con el sexo masculino entre los 35 a 39 y de 15 a 19 años con ingesta de 33,75mg/mes, y 3,68mg/mes, respectivamente, en el sexo femenino, el factor de riesgo estuvo el grupo de 20 a 24 y de 15 a 19 años con un consumo 2,25mg/mes y 1,50mg/mes. Las diferencias permiten apreciar una aparente influencia del factor biológico “sexo”. Recomendaciones. Capacitar a la comunidad en los componentes de los productos que contienen ion de flúor.Publicación Acceso abierto Factores que han desencadenado conductas suicidas en adolescentes que estudian en un colegio público de Sahagún en tiempos de pandemia(2022-09-02) Aviles Muentes, Laineth; Martínez Caraballo, Marcela; Amador Ahumada, Concepción Elena; Sánchez Caraballo, Álvaro AntonioEl suicidio es un fenómeno social que se ha incrementado en todas las edades, en especial en los adolescentes considerándose un problema de salud pública. Cada año se suicidan cerca de 700.000 personas. Este estudio investigativo tuvo como objetivo analizar los principales factores que desencadenan la conducta suicida en tiempos de pandemia en los adolescentes de un colegio público de Sahagún para construir un referente teórico. Para realizarlo se elaboró un estudio descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo, utilizando la técnica de entrevista semiestructurada, mediante protocolo a 23 estudiantes entre 12 y 17 años. Los resultados determinaron que los factores incidentes sobre la conducta suicida son la violencia intrafamiliar; la baja autoestima, la soledad como parte del factor personal-social y del familiar; entre los factores protectores están las motivaciones que los impulsa a luchar por su vida, el valor de la amistad, se evidencia la importancia del apoyo en el sano desarrollo de la personalidad; el factor ambiente escolar es percibido como el espacio de vivencias buenas al sentir apoyo de sus compañeros o malas al sentir bullying; en el factor salud se reflejaron los sentimientos y emociones que desencadenó el tiempo de pandemia en sus vidas y finalmente el factor económico donde manifiestan el deseo de querer mejorar las condiciones de vida. Se puede concluir que la conducta suicida es considerada como un acto multifactorial y durante la pandemia estuvieron factores de riesgo en los adolescentes.Publicación Acceso abierto La función del pago global prospectivo y su papel en la contratación de servicio de salud(2021-09-27) Ariz Galarcio, Isaac Antonio; Amador Ahumada, Concepción ElenaProspective Global Payment is a payment and contracting model in force in Colombia and highly applicable for the optimal functioning of the Health System, which is why it is widely used by Health Promotion Companies and Health Service Provider Institutions at the time to establish contractual agreements for the provision of health services to the Colombian population. Based on this, the present monograph aims to analyze the function of prospective global payment and its role in the contracting of health services based on the experience of the IPS MediSinú of the city of Monteria, Córdoba. During the development of this work, different concepts of the contracting modality object of study are presented here, that is, the Prospective Global Payment, these definitions allow to build a concept on it and to know the way in which it affects the contractual relationships. Health and Health Service Provider Institutions, in the same way, clarity is made about the subclasses of Prospective Global Payment models, and what each of them implies, thus having per episode per specialty, among others. There is also a series of allusions about the advantages and disadvantages of this hiring model and the way in which they should be assumed in a managerial way. Por consiguiente, esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal diseñar un modelo de creación de Recursos Educativos Digitales (RED) basados en estilos de aprendizaje para un Sistema Tutor Inteligente (STI) para el aprendizaje del protocolo de atención en la detección temprana de la Sífilis Gestacional y Congénita, para lo cual se implementó la metodología de Ciencias del Diseño para la Investigación de Sistemas de Información (DSRM) siendo esta la más adecuada para el desarrollo temático de la investigación, al tener en cuenta aspectos organizacionales y humanos, dejando como resultados: El diseño de un modelo organizacional y descriptivo sobre la selección de RED basados en estilos de aprendizaje, la elaboración de 240 RED para ser usados por el STI y un modelo para la creación de estos recursos educativos digitales basados en los estilos de aprendizaje propuestos por Felder y Silverman. The objective is to develop an intervention program to progressively reduce the increase in glosses in the health sector following the logical framework methodology, where it starts from a tree of problems, the causes of the increase in glosses are identified. , the actors, the strategies, goals and intervention objectives were established having as a pillar strategies focused on the implementation of a gloss management model that allows not only to manage them, but also to identify where the faults are found to establish corrections that translate into in the improvement of billing processes, effective response to glosses and portfolio recovery. It was descriptive through a mixed approach (qualitative / quantitative). The population was made up of the administrative area, the contributing partners and a certain number of users. Through the application and analysis of the research instruments, we proceeded to determine the most decisive failures that occur in the organization, among them, the lack of legalization of the organization before the competent entities, as well as the lack of commercial strategies that or allow the reception of new users. Each contributing partner is unilaterally managing their equipment and their income, and they only make group contributions when there is an infrastructure failure in the organization or when the central air conditioning is maintained. Objective: To explore the social representations about health and disease of a group of peasants from the department of Córdoba, in order to base the design of appropriate care plans and promote interculturality in health. Materials and methods: A descriptive study with a qualitative and micro ethnographic approach, carried out in a village in the department of Córdoba. The information was collected through an interview of 13 questions in which 20 people chosen under the stipulated inclusion and exclusion criteria participated. Results: The participants expressed a set of knowledge, ideals, concepts and practices related to the health-disease process, which nourish the construction of the social representations of health and disease in this community.
