dc.description.abstract | La enfermedad del saco anal (ASD) es el resultado de alteraciones en el proceso normal de vaciado de los sacos anales, que puede derivar en una furunculosis anal (FA). La enfermedad puede estar asociadas a causas infecciosas y no infecciosas, como la colitis linfoplasmocitaria (CL) condición caracterizada por diarrea crónica acuosa intermitente, que puede estar asociada a factores dietarios, reacciones de hipersensibilidad, bacterianos, entre otros. La enfermedad cursa generalmente con signos como eritema perianal, tenesmo, disquecia, hematoquecia o secreción mucho o purulenta. Este reporte presenta el proceso diagnóstico y manejo clínico de un cachorro mestizo con furunculosis anal (FA) por colitis linfoplasmocitaria (CL). El paciente reportó antecedentes de diarrea crónica asociada a parasitosis y signología de eritema perianal, hematoquecia, disquecia y tenesmo. La radiografía abdominal evidenció diámetro colónico aumentado respecto a la longitud de L7, la ultrasonografía abdominal corroboró un aumento de grosor de la pared colónica porción descendente con pérdida de la estratificación, y en la colonoscopia se observaron zonas congestivo – eritematosas con restos de moco. Se diagnosticó colitis linfoplasmocitaria (CL) y se procedió a tratar al paciente con antimicrobianos y corticoides, teniendo evolución positiva de la enfermedad en el corto plazo. El reporte permite asociar afectaciones gastrointestinales como colitis linfoplasmocitaria como uno de los factores predisponentes de enfermedad del saco anal (ASD) y en consecuencia de furunculosis anal (FA). | spa |
