Resumen en inglés
Objective. To evaluate the dynamics of the humoral immune antibody response in patients hospitalized with Covid and vaccinated against Sars-Cov-2. Materials and methods. Analytical, descriptive, longitudinal, prospective study was carried out in the city of Monteria where samples were collected from 10 patients hospitalized with COVID 19 and 24 healthy vaccinated volunteers where the behavior of IgG was evaluated through the COVID-19 S-Protein Human IgG ELISA Kit, and IgM (COVID-19 S-Protein Human IgM ELISA Kit) and IgA (COVID-19 S-Protein Human IgA ELISA Kit). Results. The quantification of IgM and IgG in the case of hospitalized patients, seropositivity for IgG was found from day two and day three in the case of IgM was evidenced on day 3 of follow-up. In the case of volunteers, positive titers for both were found on day 7 post second dose. In the case of neutralizing antibodies, a tendency to increase and sustain the concentration was observed in both volunteers and patients. Conclusion. The patients were confirmed with COVID-19 and the group of volunteers, it was demonstrated how the dynamics of the humoral system is, its differences and similarities in the production of immunoglobulins and neutralizing antibodies, showing that either case leads to immunization.
