dc.description.abstract | Las cardiopatías congénitas (CHD) se presentan debido a anomalías anatómicas y funcionales en el corazón o en los grandes vasos. La etiología en animales no está plenamente identificada puesto que no se conocen claramente los factores genéticos hereditarios. Los defectos del septo ventricular (VSD) pueden ser pequeños o restrictivos (<5 mm) y moderados (>5 mm); estos pueden estar asociados a soplo sistólico, hipertensión pulmonar (HP) o insuficiencia cardiaca congestiva (ICC). Este reporte de caso presenta el hallazgo incidental de un aneurisma del tabique ventricular membranoso (MVSA) en paciente poodle de 12 años sin signos clínicos asociados. El paciente presentó gradiente de presión > 80 mmHg, se realizó ultrasonografía (US) con las técnicas Doppler color y el uso de prueba de burbujas para diagnosticar el defecto del septo ventricular (VSD). El aneurisma del tabique ventricular membranoso (MVSA) no requieren tratamiento y generalmente están asociados a cierre espontáneo de defectos del septo ventricular (VSD) pequeños y presentan buen pronóstico a largo plazo. | spa |
