Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis agronómico de seis variedades de arroz (Oryza sativa) en función de diferentes épocas de siembra en el Centro Experimental La Victoria Fedearroz - Montería(2021-10-29) Gomezcasseres Argumedo, Lorena Maulith; Pérez Polo, DairoRice (Oryza sativa L), is a monocot belonging to the poaceae family. Worldwide, it is one of the most important crops in the agricultural sector as it is the staple food for more than half of the population, being one of the four most cultivated cereals in the world. The objective of the business practice was to establish and manage growth and yield evaluation experiments of six rice varieties in the experimental center La Victoria de Fedearroz in Montería. The study was carried out under a randomized complete block design with four replications and two treatments (Planting times). The varieties evaluated were: Fedearroz 2000, Fedearroz Clearfield IBIS, Fedearroz 70, Fedearroz 67, Fedearroz 68 and Fedearroz 2020, in order to know which one or which have better agronomic performance and yield, by monitoring and collecting data on the variables: Phenological phases of the plant, performance components, and evaluation of biotic damage by diseases. The results show that the variety Fedearroz 68 presented a superior yield to the other materials in all the sowing seasons, registering the highest yield, with values of 7.16 tons, surpassing the other evaluated materials.Publicación Acceso abierto Evaluación del comportamiento del virus de la hoja blanca en arroz (VHBA) y poblaciones de Tagosodes orizicolus (Muir) en la doctrina, Lorica - Córdoba(2022-11-23) Romero Pérez, Adi Luz; Fernández Herrera, ClaudioRice (Oryza sativa L.) is a monocot belonging to the Poaceae family. Worldwide, it is one of the most important crops in the agricultural sector as it is the staple food for more than half of the population, being one of the four most cultivated cereals in the world. Like any crop of economic interest, it is affected by different factors. On one of these, information is presented on the population of the sogata insect vector, Tagosodes orizicolus (Muir) 1926, and the incidence of the Rice Leaf White Virus, in addition to the possible biological controllers found under field conditions. This work was carried out in 20 commercial lots of rice in the first half of 2022. The objective of the business practice was to evaluate the incidence of the Rice Leaf White Virus, the vector T. orizicolus and controlling arthropods in La Doctrina, Lorica. -Cordova. The average of the insect vector per batch in 10 double jama passes was 0.85 specimens, with respect to the incidence of the virus in the field, it reached low levels, with an average of 0.014% for this zone; A large number of spiders was found with an average of 24.95 per lot in the irrigation district of La Doctrina.
