    Since its arrival, Leadership is a tool that has given effectiveness and transformation to the vision of people, especially schools, and for the improvement of teaching methods. This personal statement is intended to determine future concepts, elementals and practices of empowered teachers and leaders of tomorrow. Consequently, in this document, we will clarify key concepts about leadership, our assumptions, our contributions to future schools and our conclusions based on our research. Thus, the plan is to guide teachers to cultivate and empower their skills as leaders who are still hidden in them. Finally, our vision is to inspire other teachers about the positive contributions of leadership skills.

    This article aims to show the importance of teacher leadership, its concept, and the characteristics of a leader. In addition to defining teacher's empowerment, describing leadership empowerment, and its benefits for people around, with the purpose to encourage teachers to be good leaders and be empowered to develop classes in a better way. Likewise, this article contains personal assumptions, implications for the future, experience throughout the course, and the personal goals and expectations of the authors as future teachers, and thus be able to have adequate management in the classroom and develop the classes effectively.

    Although leadership has always been present in history, it seems to have become more relevant in recent years in various aspects of daily life. In education, the importance of teacher leadership is higher now than ever due to the globalization and unprecedented technological changes that educators are facing. This document seeks to reflect our previous knowledge on leadership, as well as deepening the research and definitions of authors on the subject. Likewise, this document includes our first insights about empowerment and the use we give to our assumptions to lead educational processes and how they lead us to leadership empowerment. This study is important because of the pressing need to improve teaching and learning processes, and, in turn, because of the fundamental role of teachers as agents of change in society.

    As leaders, we see ourselves as capable and creative people who are always looking forward to inspiring and encouraging the people around us. We believe that this is the goal of leadership: to motivate and influence others to do their best. As a team, we are always working towards improving our skills and abilities, which has been possible because of the good relationship, communication and leadership spirit we have. Moreover, we have learned important values and lessons useful not only for professional growth but also as individuals in our daily life, and have gained knowledge from each other; but most importantly, we trust and respect one another as a group. All these important principles we have strengthened during the time we have worked together became the basis we need to be great leaders.

    Leadership through the years has shown strong growth, as well as its great importance for the development of strategies and skills for teachers in the educational community. Therefore, it is of great importance that leadership be developed and given due importance in educational and administrative processes to achieve the objectives set. This personal statement is aimed to describe processes of teacher development, such as empowerment of future teacher leaders, strategies, learning collaborative work, and developing skills of authentic leaders. As a result, in this paper, we will explain the main concepts of definition and explanation of leadership, assumptions, contributions to future schools, and our conclusions. Hence, this plan is constructed not only, to illustrate to teachers what leadership is but also to guide and train them so that they are able to empower themselves and train others on how to be teacher leaders.

    Leadership is vital for the adequate development of society. Therefore, strong leadership skills are required to be fostered among teachers since these individuals are responsible for effectively supporting, instructing, and mentoring future generations by providing them with both useful knowledge, as well as values and attitudes for a lifelong learning. This statement attempts to present a general perspective about leadership in educational contexts based on several authors along with a personal definition of it from the viewpoint of future teacher leaders. Moreover, exploring the relevance of enhancing teacher leadership skills through empowerment is also a main concern of this writing.

    En esta declaración de liderazgo personal, delineamos nuestro enfoque, características y prácticas futuras como líderes docentes, subrayando la importancia de promover la cooperación, la creatividad y el logro estudiantil. Basados en la compleja naturaleza del liderazgo, nuestro objetivo es motivar a nuestros colegas y estudiantes al ilustrar que el aprendizaje es un viaje de toda la vida. Nuestros principios de liderazgo están moldeados por una variedad de perspectivas teóricas, enfatizando los aspectos transformadores e interpersonales de guiar e impactar a otros. Al cuestionar nuestras suposiciones y abrazar diversos puntos de vista, buscamos establecer entornos educativos inclusivos y dinámicos. Como conclusión de nuestro viaje académico, esta declaración articula nuestra dedicación a la introspección continua, el desarrollo profesional y el desarrollo comunitario a nivel de pregrado. Como resultado, sugerimos implementar un programa de mentoría para apoyar a los educadores, impulsar su crecimiento profesional y elevar el rendimiento estudiantil, estableciendo una base sólida para un liderazgo competente en el campo de la educación en constante cambio.

    Lifelong professional development: empowering foreign language teachers

    The new era of teacher-leaders will generate a powerful impact on the educational process and the acquisition of these leadership skills is increasing, which will incorporate significant development into the learning processes. Fostering leadership in schools is a very important and productive process for all members of the educational community, especially for teachers and students, because a teacher-leader will know how to guide the educational processes in order to implement leadership by showing their learners the importance of this in all walks of life. Thus, in this article, we will provide several concepts of leadership, including our assumptions, collaborative work, leadership empowerment, and implications for the future of our teaching work to encourage our students to be leaders. Our goal is to develop leadership strategies so that as future educators we can carry out innovative projects that implement and strengthen teamwork so that they inspire our students to be leaders too.

    Today's education is facing a new generation of students who require a system that is innovative, but that also helps them enhance basic values, such as teamwork, which may not be as evident today. In addition, schools recognize the importance of instilling a communicative environment, so priority is sought to be given to speaking and communication skills in a foreign language such as English. This document addresses the importance of team leadership and in the educational field and how its integration into the teaching/learning process can be a significant point of improvement. It also describes how empowerment is key to developing and achieving goals so that teacher leaders and students can meet their higher needs. In this way, a plan is proposed that allows the team leadership process to be carried out and provides students with what they need to improve. This plan aims to foster students' curiosity, critical thinking and teamwork, as well as promote inclusion and diversity in a context where communication is prioritized. Finally, this paper includes our assumptions about this leadership process and the implications for the future of being properly empowered to support quality improvement and the constant evolution of education.

Drawing from foundational principles in leadership theories, particularly transformational leadership, we aim to create a supportive environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes personal growth. The document discusses the significance of cultivating relationships based on trust, individualized support, and empowerment, enabling both teachers and students to achieve shared goals. Our exploration highlights the importance of promoting inclusivity, fostering autonomy, and engaging in self-reflection as future teacher leaders, with an emphasis on the positive, lasting change that this approach can bring to educational communities.
