This study aims to explore the lived experiences of 11th-grade students who have had difficulties with reading comprehension activities in the English as a foreign language (EFL) classroom. Through a phenomenological approach, this study aims to answer the following questions: What are the lived experiences of 11th-grade students who struggle with reading comprehension activities in the EFL classroom? Research data resources were collected through in-depth interviews. The expected outcome of this study is to describe the aspects that provide life to the phenomenon faced by these students in terms of reading comprehension, and going deeper may also reveal the impact of these difficulties on students’ general language skills and critical thinking.
