Plan de manejo integral de residuos sólidos para el conjunto residencial Ambarí en la ciudad de Montería

The present research aims to formulate a Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Plan for the Ambarí Residential complex, located in the City of Monteria. For this, a diagnosis was carried out in order to evaluate the general conditions regarding solid waste management within the complex through surveys and the application of checklists. The SWOT analysis describes the main weaknesses, opportunities, strengths and threats; It was possible to evidence the ignorance of some residents regarding the separation at the source and shortcomings related to the security measures and signaling in the solid waste storage unit. According to this analysis, seven (7) central axes were prioritized for the formulation of programs for the integral management of solid waste: Environmental education, qualitative and quantitative characterization of solid waste, separation at the source, transportation and collection, storage conditions, final disposal and management of emergencies and contingencies.
