    Efectos socioeconómicos del traslado de vendedores informales hacia el Pasaje Comercial del Río y Pasaje de Las Flores de la ciudad de Montería

    The informal economy corresponds to one of the most important issues especially in developing countries. Lack of social security for workers, as well as invasion of public space, are some of the inconveniences derived from informal sales. In Montería, most of the corners of the downtown area were occupied by itinerant commerce, so that some of the busiest spaces were congested in a way that made pedestrian traffic difficult. In 2019, the relocation of merchants to Pasaje del Río began, and a year later some of them were relocated to Pasaje de Las Flores. The present study allows determining the socioeconomic effects derived from the merchants transfer; then 89 semi-structured surveys were carried out to the merchants located in the commercial passageways. It was found that less than 50% of the premises are enabled and are used mainly by men between the ages of 31 to 50 years old, the majority of which are the same owners who manage the commercial premises. From this activity they derive sustenance in their families, with incomes equal to or less than a minimum wage. In addition, it was found that these family groups are mainly made up of people from stratum 1, with 3 members in the family nucleus. They state that they work in the informal sector due to low employability. However, 84.3% stated that customers decreased and therefore sales.     Transformación urbana y calidad de vida de los vendedores ambulantes de un sector céntrico de la ciudad de Montería

    La presente investigación busca describir los procesos de reubicación de los trabajadores informales que se encontraban situados en el centro histórico comercial de la ciudad de Montería, ubicado en la Avenida primera entre las calles 36 y 37, enfocándonos en si en la calidad de vida de dichos trabajadores como consecuencia de la reubicación o traslado de sus puestos de trabajo a otros sectores de la ciudad. Para ello se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo basado en datos de las fuentes primarias y secundarias.
