    Análisis del agronegocio de la cadena productiva de lácteos en Montería (Córdoba)

    The dairy production chain is a complex system made up of different links, where the basic product is milk production. The objective of this work was the analysis of the agribusiness of the dairy production chain in Montería. The study was carried out in a participatory manner, with the different links of the productive chain, 80 farms located in 10 districts of the municipality of Montería, five collection centers and five processing companies were surveyed; questions were asked about the characteristics of the production units, production volumes and manufactured products, as well as the measurement of innovation through the Agricultural Innovation Survey (ENIAGRO); Similarly, 50 consumers were surveyed to find out product preferences; and finally the physicochemical, compositional and hygienic quality of the milk produced in the production units of the municipality of Montería was evaluated. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistics; obtaining that the dairy production chain in Montería is made up mostly of small and medium producers, with a traditional subsistence activity and a medium level of schooling; they have insufficient infrastructure and tools to carry out their activities, one cause of this situation being the lack of investment on their own initiative or by the state, they have low productivity and little degree of associativity. In most of the milk samples evaluated, it was evidenced that the percentages of fat, protein, non-fat solids and total solids are higher than the minimum established by Decree 616 of 2006.

    En la Gobernación de Córdoba actualmente los mayores pilares para el desarrollo son la producción agrícola y pecuaria, entre las principales cadenas productivas del departamento se encuentran las cadenas productivas de cacao, plátano, tuberosas, hortalizas, marañón, oleaginosas, bobinas, ovinas, apícola, entre otras. Las cuales tienen gran representación en la economía del departamento y cada vez crece más el apoyo a estas cadenas productivas por parte del departamento y de instituciones como son AGROSAVIA, CVS, ICA, FEDEARROZ Y UNIVERSIDAD DE CÓRDOBA entre otras.

    Peligros de contaminación de la leche por agroquímicos y fármacos veterinarios en el eslabón primario de la cadena productiva

    Approximately 150 million households worldwide are engaged in milk production; In Colombia, this activity is directly linked to the behavior of the climate that occurs in various areas. The milk obtained at milking is considered sterile; however, due to the widespread use of veterinary drugs and pesticides in dairy production and agricultural practices, milk is often contaminated with their residues. The chemical wastes with the highest bioavailability are organophosphate compounds, herbicides, fungicides, anthelmintics, antibiotics, detergents and disinfectants, nitrites, polychlorides, brominated polybiphenyls, dioxins, mycotoxins, heavy metals and somatotropin hormone, their consequences on health range from systemic cardiovascular effects respiratory, genotoxicity, birth defects, neurological, behavioral, reproductive and cancer. On the other hand, there are factors such as diet, anthropogenic and environmental activities, and productive and sanitary management, which represent potential risks for consumers.
