    The purpose of this research is to know and analyze agricultural activity based on the use of land and economic activities developed in the district of Retiro de los Indios, which has as dynamic the supply of the same in different sectors of the municipality of Cereté and much of the department of córdoba. It is important to highlight the production and marketing of these products through the incidence of the labor of the inhabitants who are overwhelmingly men who condition the land for their proper planting, production and export of agricultural products leaving the rural sector of this study area. Accordingly, it also highlights the different marketing destinations of these same linked to the supply and demand of the products of the family basket. Already in conclusion the study is focused within the aspects of rural geography, which makes it possible to boost the economy of the primary sectors in the territories so that the peasantry has a better quality of life compared to the peasant market that play a fundamental role in the characterization of these tasks in the countryside is also important to mention that through territorial planning plans take into account the walls that this incorporated before the governmental entities to enhance these agricultural activities in the rural sectors geared to the new general law of rural development that they are those that constitute the elements and norms on the development and tenure of the land that are fundamental for supply of the whole range of product that is produced in the corregimiento of the Retreat of the Indians.
