Publicación Acceso abierto Variación de los hábitos de actividad física, durante el periodo de confinamiento por COVID-19 en el municipio de Montería(2021-09-16) González Yepes, Camilo Alfonso; Rocha Otero, Luis Felipe; Cortina Núñez, Manuel de JesúsThe objective of this research was to establish the variation in physical activity habits during the period of confinement due to COVID-19 in the municipality of Montería. A study was carried out from a mixed, descriptive, cross-sectional and observational research approach. The sample consisted of the urban population of the municipality of Montería with subjects aged between 18 and 77 years. More than 500 surveys were conducted. Subjects with very pronounced motor disparities were not taken into account. The data processing was carried out in the statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics. As the main finding, it was found that confinement caused variations in the increase or decrease in the number of days per week and hours per day dedicated to the practice of physical activity, but it did not represent a significant effect. Similarly, it was identified that the availability of free time with 38.74% and the beginning to generate healthy habits and lifestyles with 37.55%, were the two factors that allowed the previous result to be presented.
