Publicación Acceso abierto Modelo de gestión de riesgos a procesos prioritarios de la E.S.E Camu Santa Teresita, Lorica-Córdoba(2022-12-30) González Ruiz, Tulibeth Gissell; Nieves Julio, Yesenia PatriciaThe term patient safety also implies that all institutions that provide health care can establish clear protocols to provide excellent patient care and thus reduce the risk factors to which they are exposed; this is why it is a priority of health care in all institutions, that the incidents and adverse events that occur are a red light that alarms about the existence of unsafe care in each process and stay of patients. However, health risk management is a cross-cutting strategy of the Patient Safety Policy that is based on the articulation and interaction of the health system services and other sectors to identify, evaluate, measure, intervene and carry out follow-up and monitoring of each of the health risks to individuals, families and communities, aimed at achieving positive results in the health and well-being of the population; however, institutional risk management is that which allows the institution to evaluate those negative internal and external events that may affect or prevent the achievement of its institutional objectives. The objective of this product is to design a risk management model for priority processes of the E.S.E CAMU Santa Teresita, Lorica-Córdoba in order to minimize the risks that may occur in the health institution. Previously performing a diagnosis of the current situation of E.S.E against compliance with standards 5, 6 and 8 of resolution 5095 of 2018, followed by the application of an FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) matrix. To then propose improvement actions in response to the findings of the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) matrix.
