According to DANE projections, the city of Monteria will have approximately 125,123 young people. Between the ages of 14 and 28 to 2020 (DANE), but today and as in many parts of Colombia and the world, the young population expresses a mental deterioration, in the case of the city of Monteria, according to the survey carried out by “Red Como Vamos”, the city is in third place at the national level, where the young people present this problem, that if it is not attended in time it can lead to problems in the health system, personal finances, increased prejudice, discrimination, increased consumption of psychoactive substances, among other negative effects on society. Through the whole process of drawing up a Logical Framework Matrix, the project “actively young” will be explained with a view to strengthening the mental health of the young people of the city of Monteria, since it is a situation that, in giving it due attention, it can be mitigated and thus helped to build a better quality of life and wellbeing for young monterians.
