This personal leadership statement our approach, qualities and future practices as strategic teachers’ leaders. Teachers equipped with strategic leadership skills are better positioned to adapt to dynamic educational environments, address diverse student needs, and contribute to institutional progress. Thus, in the paper we will give an original response that reflects our leadership knowledge perspectives, our assumptions, and implication for future practices, exploring how strategic thinking, vision alignment, and collaborative decision-making empower educators to proactively address challenges within classrooms. This leadership statement outlines the importance of leadership in education, its elements, characteristics, and strategies as teacher leaders to promote leadership in our future field workplaces. Thus, in this paper, we will detail some of our understanding of the different concepts of leadership, their focus on education, our assumptions, the qualities of empowerment, and our plan to motivate students to be leaders in our future practices. Our idea is to achieve the development of leadership-based strategies for future educators who are able to promote, execute, and lead new projects as a group. A lo largo de los años, las comunidades escolares han tratado de reconocer cuán influyente, beneficioso y efectivo es el desarrollo del aprendizaje en las escuelas a medida que los educadores promueven cada vez más las habilidades de liderazgo. Esta declaración de liderazgo describe la importancia del liderazgo en la educación, sus elementos, características y estrategias como maestros líderes para promover el liderazgo en nuestros futuros lugares de trabajo de campo. Por lo tanto, en este documento detallaremos parte de nuestra comprensión de los diferentes conceptos de liderazgo, su enfoque en la educación, nuestras suposiciones, las cualidades del empoderamiento y nuestro plan para motivar a los estudiantes a ser líderes en nuestras prácticas futuras. This leadership statement outlines the relevance of promoting leadership in schools, not only to prepare teachers but also to encourage students to be leaders in their academic and professional future. Thus, in this paper, we will provide an original understanding of the several concepts of leadership, their focus on education, our assumptions of the phenomenon, collaborative work, the qualities of empowerment, and implications for future practices in the process of motivating students to be leaders. This paper focuses on adaptive leadership, and to achieve great achievements, it is essential to conduct leadership in academia, specifically as adaptive leaders. In this personal leadership statement, we reflected on various concepts and perceptions of what it means to be a good leader, as well as assumptions, empowerment, and implications for the future. The plan is to incorporate student participation in adaptive leadership, considering strategies and empowerment in structured programs, inclusive decision making and an innovative approach to foreign language education, ensuring practical and impactful implementation in schools.
