The banana agro-industry has developed as a traditional agro-export chain, generating important foreign exchange for the country, maintaining its position as a net exporter. Currently, in the Urabá area, performance evaluations are carried out in cultural tasks such as bagging, deflowering, dismantling, hand protection and bunch protection; techniques applied for greater control of their operators of each of the tasks that are carried out on farms. These performance evaluations and training give support to improve the quality of work carried out by operators, optimize the fruit and consequently, be more productive. The main objective of this report was to carry out monitoring, evaluation and training in cultural work in the pre-harvest and post-harvest stage of the banana crop (Musa AAA), with which an improvement in the quality of the executions was achieved, thanks to the feedback constants. In addition to that, follow-up was done through measurements of degree and length of fingers according to evaluating false excesses +1 and +2, this is done from the moment the excess is carried out until the cutting point in the harvest, finding data positive for F+2 dehandling, since many farm conditions were not optimal for F+1. The positive or negative impact of the shrinkage and the ratio according to the two types of mishandling were also evaluated, showing positive results since it presented a decrease in the shrinkage due to the fact that the fingers did reach the length and grade to market in international market, otherwise the excess F+1.
