Publicación Acceso abierto Creación de una unidad productiva del hongo comestible (pleurotus ostreatus) en la asociación de madres cabeza de familia “Mujeres Vencedoras” de Montería (Córdoba)(2020-12-01) Salgado Pacheco, Luisa Fernanda; Montiel Torres, Carmen Lorena; Luján Rhenals, Deivis EnriqueThis extension project was developed in the city of Montería (Córdoba) with the participation of women heads of families belonging to the “Mujeres Vencedoras” association. The objective of this project was to create a productive unit for the edible fungus Pleurotus ostreatus involving women of the association, as well as to obtain canned and fresh packed fungus. Firstly, the growth of the Pleurotus was evaluated on five different substrates (rice husk, coconut husk, corn husk, cotton cake and their mixture). Subsequently, the beneficiaries of this project received theoretical-practical training in relation to the production, harvest and transformation of the fungus (canned and fresh packed mushrooms) distributed in 6 sessions (20 hours in total). The participating women were able to acquire the skills to grow this fungus in the best substrate, corresponding to the mixture of coconut husk and corn husk (50/50). With the above, it was possible to establish the Pleurotus ostreatus production unit in the association “Mujeres Vencedoras” from Montería, which becomes an important alternative of bio-entrepreneurship which, according to the statements of Garza (2019) is known as the addition of the activities necessary for the creation of a company including various scientific disciplines, thereby generating an important effect on the study population with projection to other communities and great impact on the well-being of the region.Publicación Acceso abierto Plan de negocios para la creación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de productos biodegradables a base de la hoja de maíz(2021-09-24) Macea Tirado, Daniela; Hernández Montiel, María Camila; Puyana Giraldo, RafaelPlastic containers have a high consumption in society and a great variety of uses, such as glasses, plates, food containers and others, which makes it difficult to ration or reduce their use, which in turn becomes future damage and permanent in the environment. Currently, massively manufacturing plastic products and / or containers negatively affects the ecosystem, since due to their slow degradation they end up in the oceans, in the soils, affecting the living beings that are there, destroying habitats and species, partially or completely. In Colombia, it is already venturing into the use of biodegradable raw material to produce ecological packaging that is friendly to the environment. Thus, the corn leaf is a material considered as waste due to its little use, which is why the present project aims to carry out a feasibility study to manufacture and market biodegradable products based on the corn leaf in the city of Monteria Córdoba, taking advantage of organic residues from corn cultivation. Through internal and external studies carried out, such as, for example, a market study, sales projections, prices and others, operational plan, marketing strategies, among many others, where the viability for the creation of said products will be analyzed and the profitability of the company in the city of Monteria.
