Montería-Colombia, 2022(Universidad de Córdoba, 2024-02-01) Montes Gutiérrez, Juliana Paola; Hernández López, María Claudia; Ramos Lanfot, Claudia Patricia; Herrera Gutiérrez, ConcepciónSegún la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS), el acceso y la cobertura universal de salud implican que todas las personas y las comunidades tengan acceso, sin discriminación alguna, a servicios integrales de salud, adecuados, oportunos y de calidad, de acuerdo con las necesidades de las poblaciones, a la vez que asegura que el uso de esos servicios no expone a los usuarios a dificultades financieras. Sin embargo, persisten ciertas barreras que pueden evitar que reciba atención médica en caso de necesitarlo. OBJETIVO: Determinar la accesibilidad a los programas de salud para detección temprana y protección específica en mujeres de 18 a 59 años en la comuna 1, Montería-Colombia 2021. METODOLOGIA: El presente estudio es cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, de corte transversal, ya que se obtuvo información basada en la observación y descripción; por medio la recolección de datos de forma retrospectiva. RESULTADOS: Si existen barreras en la accesibilidad a los servicios de salud, manifestado por tramites excesivos para la cita, falta de dinero para los copagos o el transporte, así mismo, se demostró una asociación directa o dependencia entre las variables Grupo de Edad y uso de un servicio de salud en el último año, es decir, al aumentar la edad, aumenta el uso de los servicios de detección temprana y protección específica de manera moderada. CONCLUSIONES: Generar estrategias para aumentar la accesibilidad de los servicios de salud de detección temprana y protección específica, es vital y necesario, ya que se puede influir de manera significativa en la reducción de casos de cáncer de mama, cuello uterino, entre otros, mejorando la calidad de vida de esta población.Publicación Acceso abierto Aplicación de la política de participación social en salud (PPSS) para fortalecer la participación activa de los usuarios en la UAES de la Universidad de Córdoba, Montería(2022-07-28) Oviedo Villalba, Fernando; López Bernal, Cristian AlbertoPolicies are instruments that allow the implementation of responses to the needs of groups and populations in general, thus, social participation in health meets the needs that cause situations that prevent, affect and weaken the provision of health services, which result in non-compliance with the right to participate actively in health processes. For this reason, the present study is carried out with the main objective of developing the Policy of Social Participation in Health (PPSS) in the UAES in accordance with current Colombian legislation. In this way, a descriptive study with a qualitative approach is carried out methodologically. In conclusion, it is a priority that the EAPB strengthen social participation in health, starting with institutional enlistment to manage all human resources, necessary to implement the policy of social participation in health, in addition, there must be a commitment as an entity that provides comprehensive health services, which includes the component of participation in health, as a right that users have in collective decision-making.Publicación Acceso abierto Auditoria de la calidad como una herramienta de sostenibilidad para las instituciones prestadoras de servicios de salud(2023-02-27) Mercado Guillin, Yolima; Benítez Suarez, Yicela; Zapa Hoyos, Víctor; Berrocal Narváez, Neila EstherA través de la presente monografía de tipo compilación se busca identificar propuestas sobre la Auditoria de la Calidad como una herramienta de sostenibilidad en Colombia, convirtiéndose en una temática de gran importancia desde la cual se vinculan los conocimientos adquiridos y la puesta en práctica de herramientas para su estudio. Para ello, se propuso como objetivo general compilar información sobre la Auditoria de la Calidad como una herramienta de sostenibilidad para las Instituciones Prestadoras de los Servicios de Salud; realizo la selección de 33 referentes documentales entre artículos, textos, normativa legal (resoluciones y decretos correspondientes al tema en estudio) así como conferencias, filtrados por medio de una ecuación de búsqueda en plataformas como Scopus, Google Académico, Scielo y la página del Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social. Dentro de los principales resultados de la monografía, se destaca que la Auditoría de Calidad se enfoca en la seguridad del paciente; para ello, se lleva a cabo un seguimiento a través del cual se dé cumplimiento de unas prácticas seguras, así como la detección de acciones que puedan ser inseguras para los usuarios desde el ámbito de la atención en salud. Bajo estos parámetros, se puede activar un proceso de medidas mediante la toma de acciones preventivas o correctivas. Se concluye que, en el marco de las Instituciones Prestadoras de los Servicios de Salud es una herramienta que incide en los cambios de las dinámicas de producción de bienes y servicios en el sector enmarcado, por lo cual las organizaciones deben adoptar estrategias para establecer asegurar que los procedimientos se cumplan, así como incidir en el mantenimiento de los servicios. Bajo los señalamientos de la monografía, se reconoce que, con los elementos descritos, se da cuenta de la manera en que se puede mejorar la calidad del servicio de salud. También, la forma de identificar las áreas críticas y proponer soluciones que favorezcan a los usuarios. It is the second poorest department in Colombia and has a health services network of more than 1,000 institutions at all levels of complexity. These aspects directly or indirectly affect the access to medium complexity health services, since out of the 30 municipalities only seven offer this type of services, the rest must refer their patients to institutions that are more than two hours away by car, with access roads in regular conditions, subject to the regulation opportunity of the EPS, availability of beds of the receiving entity, among others. Objective: To describe the geographical, economic and administrative characteristics that affect access to medium complexity health services, from the basic level of care in the department of Córdoba during the year 2021. Methodology: A mixed retrospective descriptive retrospective study was carried out. The target population were public institutions of low and medium complexity of the department. A non-probabilistic sample was taken from EPS, ESE and nursing homes, as well as from patients' relatives for interviews. The information collection instruments are a data collection form for geographic and economic data, available resources and production of services where distances and time for geographic access and availability of ambulance type vehicle from one institution to another were recorded. Likewise, the number of referrals generated from the low complexity classified by services and type of services. To collect information from patients' relatives, a questionnaire was prepared with 10 questions aimed at obtaining information on indirect costs for transportation, lodging and meals. Administrative accessibility was evaluated on the basis of the fractionation of contracting and the estimated average regulation time. Results: were consolidated in contingency tables with absolute and relative values, using descriptive statistics for qualitative and quantitative variables. This 13 information was represented in maps, figures and graphs to identify the variables analyzed. Positive aspects were identified and those that need to be improved by departmental and health authorities in order to contribute to reduce the risks of complications and indirect expenses that patients must pay when they are referred outside their municipality. Chronic kidney disease is a disease that affects the proper development of people, affects lifestyles and generates family problems, since these patients require the support of family, friends, society and the state to cope with the consequences of this sickness. This research work is of the utmost importance since it analyzes the relationship between health auditing and care for patients with chronic kidney disease, taking into account the role played by the family. The purpose of this study is to compile information on the importance of health auditing in the family environment during the care of patients with chronic kidney disease. For this, a bibliographic review methodology was used, taking as references 30 research papers published in indexed journals and repositories. It is understood that it is important to audit the comprehensive care provided by the IPS in charge of caring for people with CKD, including education for the person, family and caregivers, as well as follow-up and supervision at home, guaranteeing that the care in it are adequate, minimizing complications and therapeutic non-adherence.Publicación Acceso abierto Percepción de los usuarios sobre la calidad de los servicios de salud en instituciones hospitalarias 2015-2019(2022-04-21) Arrieta Córdoba, René Alberto; Herrera Gutiérrez, ConcepciónThis documentary research made it possible to characterize the health services offered in hospital institutions in the field of quality during the period from 2015 to 2019. This review illustrated the existence of services identified as primary and secondary with their respective subclassifications. In the second instance, as a state of the art, in Colombia the presence of a series of works is observed, under the discursive modality of research articles that account for the concern that higher education institutions have, through the Faculties of Health Sciences for strengthening the quality of health services offered, a process that is coupled, in some cases, with the perception of users, that is, their opinion is key to the implementation of improvement plans that allow mitigating all those shortcomings that they perceive when they go to a hospital institution to request a health service. For this, the methodology of this study is located within the scope of the documentary review of primary and secondary sources and the respective analysis of their results to obtain conclusions and recommendations related to the subject in question. The results of the study show that, to a certain degree of acceptance with the quality of the services received, the perception that users have regarding the quality of the services they obtain in hospital institutions is related to efficiency and satisfaction in care. received in the different dependencies. Appreciation that managers and workers must take into account for the implementation of continuous improvement plans; because the information obtained from these investigations constitutes inputs that will benefit health institutions, direct providers and will decisively contribute to the satisfaction and effective solution of the needs and expectations of users.Publicación Acceso abierto Plan de acción para la prestación de servicios de salud durante pandemia por COVID-19 en institución de baja complejidad, Montería 2020(2020-11-14) Guerrero Soto, Elinor; Espitia Cabrales, Enalbis EstherWithin the framework of the pandemic and the health emergency caused by COVID-19, the Colombian Ministry of Health established an action plan for the provision of health services during the containment and mitigation stages of the pandemic, with the purpose of organize health services. Objective. Evaluate the implementation of the action plan for the provision of health services during the containment and mitigation stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in a low-level complexity health care IPS in Monteria-Córdoba, taking into account the provisions of the Ministry of Health. Materials and methods. Descriptive cross-sectional study. From the total number of health institution officials (n = 135) (n = 68) administrative officials and (n = 67) healthcare officials, a stratified sample of 100 officials was taken (n = 50 from the administrative area and n = 50 from the care area who anonymously filled out a virtual questionnaire that assesses compliance with the actions carried out by the IPS for risk management and provision of health services and human talent management during the containment and mitigation stages of the COVID-19 pandemic The analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics. Results. Most officials have a perception of high compliance in the implementation of the action plan for risk management and provision of health services in the administrative area (66%) as for the management of human talent in the healthcare area (56%), which indicates that there are strengths and opportunities for improvement that mainly correspond to the ac actions aimed at human talent and physical infrastructure. Conclusions. The global results indicate the need to expand training and training to cover 100% of employees. It is recommended to implement a continuous improvement plan aimed at feedback and monitoring actions in the provision of services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
