So that the patient is given a safe and pleasant stay in the health institution. How does the ZAYMA clinic work in the patient safety policy? Develop as a starting point a patient safety policy, for each of its activities, create a patient safety committee which is a governing body and manager that ensures compliance with the activities. There is a program of analysis of adverse events, this is the mechanisms to recognize the errors and identify opportunities for improvement and finally a program of implementation of good practices that is a tool to minimize the risks in health care. OBJECTIVE: To determine and analyze the main causes or risk factors that affect the safety of patients and that may cause adverse events in the functional external consultation unit of the ZAYMA clinic, to strengthen the reporting culture. MATERIAL AND METHOD: A descriptive investigation of mixed nature was carried out, the population is made up of the patients attended in the outpatient area during the business practice period, in which several adverse events were presented, but due to the poor reporting culture, only 18 were reported. At the date of this investigation, for the realization of this study, the adverse event platform analysis was carried out and through a survey carried out in the unit RESULT: 18 reported adverse events were analyzed, which were presented during the hours of service from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These adverse events are related 13 to untimely care and cancellation of appointments due to factors attributable to the clinic.Publicación Acceso abierto Modelo de gestión de riesgos a procesos prioritarios de la E.S.E Camu Santa Teresita, Lorica-Córdoba(2022-12-30) González Ruiz, Tulibeth Gissell; Nieves Julio, Yesenia PatriciaThe term patient safety also implies that all institutions that provide health care can establish clear protocols to provide excellent patient care and thus reduce the risk factors to which they are exposed; this is why it is a priority of health care in all institutions, that the incidents and adverse events that occur are a red light that alarms about the existence of unsafe care in each process and stay of patients. However, health risk management is a cross-cutting strategy of the Patient Safety Policy that is based on the articulation and interaction of the health system services and other sectors to identify, evaluate, measure, intervene and carry out follow-up and monitoring of each of the health risks to individuals, families and communities, aimed at achieving positive results in the health and well-being of the population; however, institutional risk management is that which allows the institution to evaluate those negative internal and external events that may affect or prevent the achievement of its institutional objectives. The objective of this product is to design a risk management model for priority processes of the E.S.E CAMU Santa Teresita, Lorica-Córdoba in order to minimize the risks that may occur in the health institution. Previously performing a diagnosis of the current situation of E.S.E against compliance with standards 5, 6 and 8 of resolution 5095 of 2018, followed by the application of an FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) matrix. To then propose improvement actions in response to the findings of the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) matrix.
