Actualización del protocolo para el procedimiento de nasofibrolaringoscopia del proceso de endoscopias en la IPS Otorrinolaringólogos Asociados de Córdoba

Within the IPS OTORRINOLARYNGOLOGOS DE CÓRDOBA (OTOC S.A.S), where the following study was developed, a protocol for the development of the Nasofibrolaryngoscopy procedure is detailed. This protocol presents a lack of activities that would be beneficial when applied, as well as shortcomings in terms of procedures and document updating. This type of inconsistencies could be harmful to the IPS in the short and long term; due to this a restructuring of this is determined, which allows improving the procedure, through an improvement plan. Which left as main result the update of the protocol for the execution of the Nasofibrolaryngoscopy study, based on the NTC-ISO-90001 and the PHVA cycle, allowing to recognize the importance of documentation, within a company, which implies review and verification of compliance with the documented process or procedure, in search of carrying out improvement actions for the IPS, The main basis for updating this protocol was to optimize the information through three methods, which were the documentary review of this process, the direct observation of its conducting and interviewing one of its managers, all based on the continuous improvement approach within the institution.
