The research project proposes to implement a virtual learning environment to enhance the learning processes of naming oxides, bases, acids, and salts in the chemistry field for 10th-grade students at Antonia Santos Educational Institution. The identified problem is that many secondary education students struggle with learning chemistry, resulting in poor academic performance and a passive attitude in the classroom. The use of Information and Communication Technology (TIC) in teaching can help students improve their learning, increase motivation, interest, and creativity, as well as their problem-solving skills. The general objective is to implement a virtual environment that strengthens the learning processes of naming oxides, bases, acids, and salts in the field of chemistry. The proposed methodology is qualitative in nature, and action research will be employed to observe the problematic situation, construct an outline of it, collect the necessary data, analyze and interpret the environment or situation, and finally, take action to address the problem and implement an improvement. It is expected that the implementation of the virtual environment will allow students at Antonia Santos Educational Institution to engage in their own learning process under the supervision and guidance of the teacher, thereby enhancing their learning compared to the traditional system where students are passive recipients of information. The project aims to provide ongoing training that promotes both independent and collaborative learning, breaking 7 away from traditional educational settings and allowing students to become active constructors of meaning rather than mere passive consumers.
