Publicación Acceso abierto Análisis espacial de las condiciones físicas y socioeconómicas de la cadena láctea del municipio de Montería y su incidencia en los corregimientos de Leticia, Nueva Lucía y Tres Piedras, pertenecientes al proyecto Conpes lácteo 2021(2022-11-10) Sánchez Gil, Julián David; Torres Ospino, José LuisThis internship report contemplates a geographical analysis of the dairy chain of the municipality of Montería in its rural context, and constitutes a product of the interadministrative agreement Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development - Mayor's Office of Montería - University of Córdoba No. 20210533, which allowed the development of the project "Coordinate efforts, administrative and financial technicians for the strengthening of the dairy sector through the implementation of technological alternatives to increase the productivity of the municipality of Montería" or also called "CONPES (National Council of Economic and Social Policy) dairy Montería 2021 ”. In such a way, that a physical-spatial diagnosis was made of the territorial conditions for the consolidation of the dairy chain, the socio-economic conditions of the beneficiary population of the project and the analysis of the dynamics of commercialization, accessibility and average travel times. between producers and main rural and urban collection centers, which was developed through a mixed methodological approach, through the deductive method, for the realization of the document, alphanumeric and spatial information provided by governmental and/or territorial entities was obtained, additionally it was used data generated in the dairy CONPES. The results show that Montería is a municipality that does not have the correct ecosystem use of its rural areas, a population that faces a social and cultural problem, which greatly affects the productivity of livestock, in addition to the inhabitants who were part of the project, faces a series of difficulties for the correct commercialization and distribution of its agricultural products. It is concluded that the rural reality of Montería is complex, based on the fact that livestock in the municipality is recognized nationally and internationally for its production and quality standards, but in the case of small and medium producers it is difficult to be competitive in the market, due to all the difficulties present in the development of livestock, regardless of whether it is meat, dairy or dual purpose.
