Worldwide, it is one of the most important crops in the agricultural sector as it is the staple food for more than half of the population, being one of the four most cultivated cereals in the world. Like any crop of economic interest, it is affected by different factors. On one of these, information is presented on the population of the sogata insect vector, Tagosodes orizicolus (Muir) 1926, and the incidence of the Rice Leaf White Virus, in addition to the possible biological controllers found under field conditions. This work was carried out in 20 commercial lots of rice in the first half of 2022. The objective of the business practice was to evaluate the incidence of the Rice Leaf White Virus, the vector T. orizicolus and controlling arthropods in La Doctrina, Lorica. -Cordova. The average of the insect vector per batch in 10 double jama passes was 0.85 specimens, with respect to the incidence of the virus in the field, it reached low levels, with an average of 0.014% for this zone; A large number of spiders was found with an average of 24.95 per lot in the irrigation district of La Doctrina.
