Publicación Acceso abierto Efecto de la fragmentación del paisaje sobre la diversidad de mamíferos terrestres en la vereda El Diamante, Tierralta - Córdoba(2020-11-10) Romero Oviedo, María José; Martínez Bravo, Caty MilenaFragmentation processes are mainly caused by changes in land use in natural ecosystems, which generates changes in the distribution, reproduction and survival of biodiversity. The objective of this study was to record the effect of landscape fragmentation on the diversity of terrestrial mammals in the village of El Diamante, Tierralta - Córdoba. The work was carried out in forest covers with 3 levels of fragmentation: high, medium and low. Data collection was done using the methodology proposed by Steenmans and Pinborg (1999), for the indicators of fragmentation and trapping in mammalian diversity. 119 records of land mammals were generated, belonging to 9 species, distributed in 5 orders and 8 families. The greatest diversity of terrestrial mammals was obtained in the low fragmentation covers.
