This report will describe the performance of the business practice in the insurance area of the Municipal Health Secretary of the city of Montería, which describes the diagnosis and proposal for updating the process manual and procedure for the promotion of affiliation to the subsidized health system. Taking this into account, a diagnosis was developed for the realization of the DOFA matrix, after observing some technological resources and documents, it was possible to notice the outdatedness of these, that is, documents made years ago where the lack of laws, decrees can be evidenced. and resolutions that currently govern this process. This document, specifically talking about how the process and procedure of promotion to affiliation to the subsidized health regime is carried out, did not have updated regulations, step by step for carrying it out, it is no longer executed, due to to the new regulations that are being presented to the provision of health services. It is there where a need was detected in the functional area which was addressed with an improvement proposal for the restructuring of a document that legally exists and that is out of date for several years.
